Q. Why is pine the most common type of wood used in making wood caskets today?
A. With demand growing for caskets to be made from renewable resources like wood, and with funeral costs always rising, low cost and widely available pine has filled that demand. Pine wood is fairly easy to work and its grain often includes knots and burl that are naturally appealing.
Pre-order one of our pine caskets today and it can be ready in as little as 3 days, but we also normally have a variety of styles in stock, either finished, wrapped and ready to ship, or semi-finished & waiting to be lined in the color of your choice.
