Our Cedar box caskets are a modern improvement to a once popular style, that are made in the traditional rectangular box design with a single flat lid.
Our cedar box style caskets have a smooth rectangular box design, and a single flat lid is standard as are the solid wood handles. The exterior is fully sanded to a very smooth finish and stained with a color that enhances the grain of the wood. Final coats vary depending on the characteristics of the wood, but typically are a hand rubbed oil. The interior is fully padded and lined including the lid, with off-white being the standard color, but many optional colors are available on pre-order caskets.
